to Balance Builders.
Chisom Alozie started Ground Control in 2018, doing hardscaping, paving, concrete and property maintenance. Balance Builders grows that work into new construction, concrete, fencing and renovation for homes and commercial properties, with a crew that builds from the ground up.

To be the builder property owners call first, whether it is a new driveway, an addition or a commercial building. We want every project to leave a property stronger, a client well informed, and a community a little better built.

Chisom’s work has included homes, apartment buildings and hotels, two- and three-storey commercial buildings in historic districts, and concrete sidewalks for the city.
Most work comes by word of mouth, and he lands commercial jobs most years. Rebuilding after fire, water and storm damage, including tornado damage, is handled through Balance Builders restoration.
